I always enjoy watching the French. They are always going back and forth as the people either go to or don’t go to the polls. In this last election it was more like 85% voter turnout. I hate to say it but it is a little like watching us. America soon will have a chance to act European and toss a bunch of socialists out just like the French did. Although our media and theirs have been silent on the rioting Moslem youths it is obvious that even the French can be awakened. But seeing a recent article in the Timesonline UK I can see that the UK Media is now falling into stupid mode. I don’t mean to say the people in the UK are falling into stupid mode but like our press, their press has also become stupid. But that is what the media has always been like and I don’t care where it is.

I also read another article that demonstrated UK ignorance that had to do with a massive defection of Bush supporters to the Obama camp, and even to the Clinton camp. Between the two of them they have sucked up a whole $750,000 in donations. That’s a stellar haul ain’t it? All that showed me was the reason why Bush has been so darn liberal about some things. He shouldn’t be taking donations from flip floppers; I hear it can make you go blind. And it has too. But somebody escaping from the Bush camp isn’t really something that matters at this juncture. I guess the writer has forgotten that Bush won’t be running for office again. I wonder if the writer has noticed how much Bush has managed to collect for the Republican Party. One of the donors switched because his son is about to be deployed for active service in Afghanistan. Yup it’s all in fun until someone loses an eye. Grow up! But this same donor likes the fact that Obama wants to take action in Darfur.

But that’s what I love about the liberals. They only have to make sense to themselves. I guess they figure we won’t notice the fact that they were for the war in Iraq before they changed their minds. They want to do something about rampant violence anywhere but where we are. It’s because they are just a bunch of little kids. I haven’t forgotten that the price of gas was going down until these liberals got into congress and started talking about letting Iraq go. At the same time they aren’t willing to let us drill in certain places in our country. Once again they are little children.

I suspect that the reason they are against the war is because they tend to want power at all costs. They don’t really care about very much except for being in power. During the war in Kosovo, and after, the liberals hailed Clinton for doing something just to be nice instead of doing it for reasons of national interest. That is one of the most laughably stupid things I’ve ever heard in my life. They want to be able to make the same ignorant claim in Darfur. I wouldn’t trust these people with a set of yard darts and they want to have control of our weapons systems and military.

I still get emails with questions as to why we are in Iraq. Here it is nice and simple: Former DCI Olson once said that the West tends to drown in its own excesses. I see us as Rome with the rare exception of New York and San Francisco. They are drowning in the same excesses as Greece did. But he was referring to the tendency for us to get caught up in our excessive daily lives. As we get caught up in all of ‘that’ we forget there are nations out there that don’t like us. Fortunately as DCI Olson said the East always screws up and does something to alert us to their existence and desire to control. We are once again drowning in our excesses and both Russia and China are on the move again. Before we got there they were in Iraq and very active. Because we buy just about everything from China they now have money and a desire for oil. Where do you think they’re going to want to get it? They are right back to being the big destablizer again. In short we’re funding our biggest enemy and its war effort. This is the dark place the media dares not tread or even cast a light, and so it is with our liberal politicians.

I guess that all I can say about France is that great mimes move together. If the liberals in congress continue to run the country into the ground and continue to display their phony support for the troops and America they will be chucked into the ash can of stupid mistakes for the American electorate. I said they would act like this the day they got voted in. I hate being right sometimes. You better remember this in the next election and let’s all hope Thompson makes a run.
