About these three books: You may
have noticed immediately that there are only two of them up here at the moment. Kudos to you. The third book, "Meridian"
is currently in the final stages of the editing process and will be up fairly soon. Also, you might have noticed
that there is also a link below leading to the first chapter of "Enmity" as a webpage. This area will
expand quickly to include the entire book, as well as full versions of both "Odium" and "Meridian" (when completed).
I have been working on these for more
than a few years and have done so with the understanding that there isn't a publisher in the world that is going to start
me out with a trilogy. I decided to thumb my nose at conventions and wrote them anyway because it's what I wanted to do. I'm
kind of funny like that. But one has to understand that when behaving like that there is a bit of a risk. Those who are publishers
are the publishers and can therefore thumb their nose right back at you. As much as unbridled defiance can grant one a particularly
warm and fuzzy feeling, it doesn't make you any money. Then again, neither does what I'm doing here. But I write because I
love to write. Money isn't the object or the reason; it is the writing that matters the most.
Having said that, I've slaved over these
books for many years as I learned to write and now offer them to you to read. Free of charge. I guess I could set up a PayPal
account and ask for donations, but that just seems so tacky. Speaking of tacky behavior - Take these books, or any portion
of them, try to modify them and sell them for money and I'll clean your clock in court. I promise. These are not to be changed
or sold for any reason unless it is with the express permission of me - the author.
The titles of the books are "Enmity",
"Odium" and "Meridian" in that order. Together they comprise the "Cycles" Trilogy.
