I have heard many people say that our Government doesn't represent us anymore. Actually
they do, and quite well I might add. Those that support Bill Clinton, I maintain, are just like him. During the impeachment
joke, I kept hearing about how good the economy was. The man was being impeached for denying Paula Jones her day in court.
He was not removed because the supposed polls showed he was just too loved by the 'people'. He was loved because of the economy
and everybody lies about sex? If we distill that, it says "I support Bill Clinton because I am greedy and immoral."
Those
that support Bill Clinton are honor bound to support him. True honor has to do with personal integrity and beliefs in ones
own values and standing by them, in spite of the cost. Honor bound is pure selfishness, it ties one to the values and actions
of someone else. In supporting him they get a payback. They don't have to ask themselves if they are right. They don't even
have to think about what they really think, if it all goes wrong, they will all yell, "He was driving the bus! Not me!"
It
appears to me that his supporters in Congress, Senate and the general electorate are all going to get their chance to yell,
"He was driving the bus! Not me!" He has more than likely started World War 3. I warned several people that this would happen
if he wasn't removed from office. He wants a legacy or a third term. Clinton is now beyond his allotted 'War Powers play time'
and Congress has not told him to stop or keep going. They are just like the electorate. The world is watching too. If the
people abdicate their responsibility as Congress has by not demanding they do one thing or another, the populace deserves
to pay as well. Don't forget that the Serbian populace is being punished right now. Your silence is tacit approval.
In
closing, our Government represents us quite well. George Washington predicted we would be attacked by the world one day because
we will have fallen away from our creator. The silence of the elected and the electorate demands a response. I believe it
is coming and it isn't going to be too pretty either. Dante said "The hottest places in hell are reserved for those that didn't
speak out in times of moral crises." Abe Lincoln said "To remain silent when one should speak out, makes cowards of men."
I prefer to speak out and let the cowards call me a fool!
